DETROIT, June 25.—The third national skeet championships to be held at the Blue Rock. Gun Club, Detroit, Aug. 31 to Sept. 4, will bring ‘together the greatest array of clay -target busters the sport ever has. known. This prediction was made today by Richard H. Hecker, one of the six sponsors of this year’s blue ribbon skeet classic. His statement was based on entries pouring in from practically every state. For the first time shooters will have an opportunity to compete ‘over an eight-field skeet layout, the ‘largest ever installed.

ATHLETES T0O RETURN MILWAUKEE, June 25.—An early ‘compilation indicates that 75 of tlre stars who competed in the National A. A. U. track and field champion‘ships here in 1934 will return this year for the 50th annual running of the meet at Marquette University Stadium, July 2 and 3.

New Race Track for Florida Is Proposed

By United Press JACKSONVILLE, Fla., June 25.— The Hollywood Jockey Club has’ received permission to construct and operate a horse race, track ‘in Broward County with the approval of the Florida Racing Commission.
