STATE JOBS G0 T0 DEMOCRATS IN LEGISLATURE
Score of Party Leaders in House and Senate Appointed.
By JERRY SHERIDAN Almost a score of Democratic Legislators have been named to State jobs since the close of the Legislature in March, a survey showed today. Most of them were instrumental in pushing Administration farm and labor measure through the House and Senate. Senator Floyd J. Memmer, Huntingburg, received the latest “plum.” He was named superintendent of the State Penal Farm this week.

The first political appointment announced after the session closed made Thurman Gottschalk, Berne, Senate filor leader, State Welfare Director and head of penal and benevolent institutions.
