On Crashes Causing “Injury or Damage.
State-wide operation of the new |.
accident reporting law is to begin in Indianapolis in July, Don F. Stiver, State Safety Director, said today.
The law provides that the driver
or death of any persons or total property damage of $25 or more shall, within 24 hours, forward a written report. to the Safety Department. i If the report is inadequate, the Safety Department may require a supplemental form. Whenever the driver is physically incapable of making a report and there are other passengers in the car, the report should be made by one of them. Court Use Prohibited . \ Failure or refusal of any person to make a report may mean forfeiture of the operator’s or chauffeur’s license or a fine of not to exceed $100. The report cannot be used in court. A permanent record in the State Motor Vehicle Bureau will show every accident in which a driver has been involved and will permit easy reference to the complete accident report

WOOL GRADING WORK | TO BE SHOWN HERE!
A wool grading demonstration, sponsored by the Indiana Wool Growers Association here next Monday, will be attended by C. J. Faw cett, general manager’ and salesman of the National Wool Corp., Boston, T. I. Ferris, state organization president, announced. The co-operative will convene at a luncheon in Hotel Washington and hold an afternoon session in the hotel assembly room.
FALLS DOWN SHAFT; INJURED SERIOUSLY
Thomas Simmons, 33, of 123 W. 11th St., received.severe scalp lacerations early today when he fell from the first floor to the bottom of the Hotel Antlers’ elevator shaft. He was taken to City Hospital where his condition was described as serious.

Accepts Invitation to Visit President With Party Group Friday.
Times Special . WASHINGTON, June 22. — Although he is a member of Senator Wheeler's steering committee to develop strategy for defeat in the Senate of the President’s Supreme Court plan and all compromises, Senator Frederick VanNuys is going on the Jefferson Island junket just the same. He announced today that he has accepted the invitation to visit the President there Friday. Democratic senators and congressmen were divided into three groups and the President is to receive them on the island Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Senator Sherman Minton will be a Saturday guest.

Clinical examinations to select a special children’s class are to be held this week at Butler University by Mrs. Ruth K. Heavenridge, of the summer school faculty. The class, to be started July 6, is for children who deviate physically, emotionally and mentally from other children.

the seniority rule,’when Chairman Palmsiano (D. Md.) resigns to become chairman of the District of Columbia Committee. Rep. Palmisano succeeds Rep. Mary Norton (D. N. J) in the district chairmanship, Mrs. Norton becoming chairman of the Labor Committee through the vacancy caused by the death of Rep. Connery (D. Mass.). Rep. Fletcher (D. ©.) likely will be made chairman of the Education Committee, Rep. Larrabee said,
