Loew's and Circle Offer Single Films!
Disney Revue and 'March Of Time' Supplement ? Features.

Are you bothered with that overstuffed feeling brought on by a consistent and cloying diet of double features? If so, the Circle and Loew's may have your dish in the programs that open tomorrow. In addition to “Mountain Music,” the Circle will show the latest edition of the “March of Time,” while
Loew's will supplement “Captains Courageous” with “Walt Disney’s Academy Award Revue.” This will contain the following prizewinning Silly Symphonies in technicolor: “Flowers and Trees” (1932): “Three Little Pigs” (1933); ‘The Tortoise and the Hare” (1934); “Three Orphan Kittens” (1935), and “The Country Cousin” (1936). This collection | of cartoons is somewhat different than. other gala presentations of Mr. Disney's animal kingdom in that it includes the features that have captured the Motion Picture | Academy's | gold statuettes for the past five years. Included in the “casts” are the various Disney characters such as

Groom, who loses memory when hit on head, turns up in city, is cared for by homely girl who is looking for a boy friend. She returns boy for his brother's trial, restores his memory by dousing him with water. He vindicates brother, marries the city gal, and brother and the mountain girl—the jilted bride-to-be—decide to be married.

Story—Spoiled young son of millionaire, en route to Europe, falls off liner, is rescued by sailor in fishing schooner. Boy discovers he cannot return to land for three months, becomes very obnoxious. Patient, kindly sailors eventually work change in lad. He becomes true fisherman. On way home Manuel, boy's rescuer, is drowned. Father returns, but heartbroken boy thinks only of Manuel. At memorial services for drowned sailors, father and son find new sympathetic understanding. German Consul Ordered To Terminate Moves Against Stars.
By United Press HOLLYWOOD, June 17.— The German consul in Los Angeles has been ordered by his Government to desist from threats of a Nazi blacklist such as he sent players in a recent Hollywood movie, “The Road Back,” it was reported today. The Hollywood Anti-Nazi League announced receipt from the State Department of notification that the German Government had "acted in the case. The league, with the! Screen Actors’ Guild, had protested the consul’s warning. George Guyssling, the. consul, sent the warnings fo 20 featured players in the cast of “The Road Back.” The movie is based on a novel by Erich Maria Remarque, exiled German war veteran, whose works have been banned in Ger-
