SECURITY BOARD ISSUES WARNING
T0 EMPLOYERS)
Cautions Accuracy in Securing Account Numbers From Workers.
Employers today were cautioned by the Indianapolis office of the Social Security Board to secure the right account numbers from employees for listing on information reports. H. L. McCarthy, Chicago, regional director, in a bulletin to the local office, urged employers to obtain correct numbers to prevent the Board from setting up multiple accounts for employees. “All employees are urged to report ‘their numbers to employers. This applies to workers whose period may have been one day or less.
Employers should, wherever possible, get in touch with former employers and secure their account numbers before filing applications for new numbers,” he said. Account numbers may be obtained at the Indianapolis postoffice without delay. All applications received in the mail by 2 p. m. will have account numbers forwarded the day the application is received, Indianapolis officials said.
Ruptured Men Get $3.50 Truss Free
Pay No Money—Now or Ever, for This Truss.
A newer rupture method developed by a doctor of Kansas City, Mo., is so successful he offers to give every ruptured man or woman who tries it, a $3.50 truss free. It does away with leg straps, elastic belts, binding springs and harsh pads. After using it, many have reported their ruptures better. Often in a very short time. ~ Others say they no longer need any support. The method will be sent on 30 days’ trial and he will send the $3.50 truss free with it. If the method does not help your rupture return |it and keep the $3.50 truss for your trouble. If you are ruptured just write E. O. Koch, 6231 Koch Bldg., 2906 Main St., Kansas City, Mo., for his trial offer.—Adv.
Al Losclie, City Purchasing Agent, has gone into the duck business ¢ in a big way. Andy Miller, City Horticulturist and god-father of a flock of ducks at Riverside Park, had complaints that some “outlaw” ducks were flying over to the Riverside Hatcheries and eating fish. This, he agreed, was not so good. Andy didn’t want to kill the ducks, so he sought a new home for them. Mr. Losche said he would adopt the bad ducks, give them a good home on Fall Creek in the rear of his home. So here they are. And Mr. Losche says he. will erect 700 signs on Fall Creek Blvd. soon

address at the opening of the Conference convention. He urged that in the compilation ‘of a history of the state park ‘movement, there should be stressed the “immediate relation which state [parks have to the larger concept of conservation of natural resources.” Sanitary Quarters Needed
Col. Lieber said that in view of the increasing number of visitors to the growing number of state parks, there is a problem of providing sanitary quarters and wholesome food. “So it nes be well if our state
