Hitting the tenpins for counts of 258, 180 and 213, V. Akard turned in a three-game total of 651 in the Wheeler's Lunch Bowling League at {the Central Alleys last night. Pieper and Ray scored 601 each for high honors in the spring league at Pritchett’s and Ellen Schneider paced the Uptown Ladies’ League at the Uptown Alleys with 533. Indianapolis bowlers who won prize money at the recent A. B. C. tournament in New York will receive- their checks at the Pritchett ‘Alleys tonight at 7:30. Neil C. King is local ‘“‘paymaster.”
