three-day meeting which began yesterday. Dr. A. A. Spears, Brazil, trustee, has been mentioned for the office of president-elect. He has been an active participant in association affairs for 16 years. Other officers are expected to retain their present positions. They are: - William Bogie, Vincennes, treasurer; A. R. Ross, Lafayette, secretary; R. C. Shurr, Valparaiso, executive committeeman; B. K. Westfall, Indianapolis, master of exhibits; Fred W. Leavell, Newcastle, supervisor of clinics, and J. L. Wilson, Indianapolis, librarian. A resolution indorsing the dental education and, demonstration as

Chief defense witness yesterday was Hubert Nally, Indianapolis, nephew of the defendant, who testified his. uncle lived at his home at the time of the holdup. He said Nally was
