BANDITS SEIZE 330 IN HOLDUP OF DRUG STORE
Filling Station Attendant Robbed of $141, He Tells Police.
Armed bandits held up a drug store, a filling station and a pedestrian overnight, escaping with nearly $200 in cash, police reported today.
Two young gunmen ordered employees of the Dopp Pharmacy, #620 E. Michigan St., to lie on the floor while they looted the cash register of $50, officers said.
Leo Kuhns, 195 of 304 N. Riley Ave., and Walter Bunker, 17, of 2215 Broadw ay, told police the men took the receiver from the telephone and fled east. on Michigan St. A Negro bandit robbed Irvin L. Mutschler, 31, of 2027 N. Harding . St., filling station attendant at 2041 N. ‘Harding St., of $141, he reported.

Two: Negroes who asked Elmer Yarbro, 32, of 2410 Indianapolis Ave., for a cigaret drew revolvers and de-
-manded his billfold containing 50 cents, he reported to police. Burglars who broke into the home of John Dwyer, 5152 Broadway, stole jewelry valued at $30, officers were told. A 19-year-old Winchester youth was being held on a vagrancy charge today for questioning in connection with an attempted burglary in the 2000 block of N. Temple Ave. late
Four boys were turned over to juvenile authorities yesterday as suspects in the. theft of two purses from a store at 338 E. Washington St.. police said. Crown Point authorities today were holding a 16-year-old Indianapolis boy. They said they found him riding a stolen bicycle through that city. His arrest followed an accident in which he was injured slightly, it was reported.
Held to Grand Jury
James Overton, 54, of 718 Fletcher Ave., was bound over to the Grand Jury yesterday after waiving preliminary hearing in Municipal Court on an armed robbery charge. Four men were arrested on vagrancy charges: yesterday after police said they found them acting suspiciously in front of a filling station at 25th St. and Martindale Ave.
HOOSIER ROTARIANS TO MEET NEXT WEEK
Times Special FT. WAYNZX, April 29.—The 23d annual conference of Rotary Clubs of the 20th Indiana district is to be held here next Monday and Tuesday. The Rev. A. Elliston Cole, Bloomington, is the only announced candidate for district governor. Speakers are to include Senator Nye of North Dakota and Harrison E. Howe, Washington, Rotary International representative.
