Ralph Tumey, 24, of 2834 Park Ave., was to face six traffic charges in Municipal Court today. He was arrested after two police
radio squads reported following his car over a zig-zag course that started at 21st- St. and Martindale Ave. and ended in the 900 block of E. 30th St. The chase ended with Mr. Tumey being pulled from his overturned car which police said had struck a car parked in front of 905 E. 30th St.
Six Charges Filed
He was uninjured but the officers thumbed through their ordinance books and slated him on charges of drunkenness, drunken driving, reckless driving, speeding, failure to stop at a preferential street and failure to have a driver's license. Four persons were injured in three traffic accidents early today. Forty motorists, charged with traffic law violations, were to face Judge Dewey Myers in Municipal Court. Clarence Weddell, 32, of 3415 E. 19th St., received a double fracture of the left arm when the car he was driving collided with a taxi at 10th St. and West Drive, Woodruff Place. Robert Malugine, 22, of 1536 N. Sherman Dr., a passenger in Mr. Weddell's car, received head lacerations.

EASTERN STAR ELECTS WORTHY GRAND MATRON
Mrs. Marguerite Fisher Is Picked at 63d Convention Of Order.
Mrs. Marguerite Fisher, Nabb, Ind. today was elected worthy grand matron of the Indiana Grand Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, as the organization’s 63d convention opened in Cadle Tabernacle. Approximately 1500 delegates and 2000 visitors attended the meeting, opened by Mrs. Mary Frances Price, Vincennes, ex-worthy grand matron. Lee Ansden, Waldron, was elected worthy grand patron, succeeding Delph L. McKesson, Plymouth. Mr. Ansden .is‘a deputy Indiana auditor.
