Colonel to Address Annual Columbian’s Beefsteak Dinner Tonight.
Col. Eddie V. Rickenbacker is to speak tonight at the Columbia Club’s anniversary beefsteak dinner. Approximately 700 members and guests, including 175 who have been members for 25 years, are expected to don the traditional butchers’ caps and aprons for the annual frolic. Col. Rickenbacker is to speak on “Air Transportation and Communication Today.” The reception committee for him is to be seated |at the speakers’ table. It includes William G. Sparks, Clifford L. Herrod, Fred C. Gardner, Dr. Edmund D. Clark, Nor"man A. Perry, Benjamin F. Lawrence, George S. Olive, Arthur V. Brown, Curtis H. Rottger, Irving W. Lemaux, Theodore Myers Wallace C. Lee, Warren C. Fairbanks, Louis J. Bornstein, Arthur V. Baxter, Harry S. Hanna, J. K. Lilly Samuel D. Miller John K. Ruckelshaus and John C. Ruckelshaus. Mr. Herrod is to preside.
