Delegates from Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority chapters at, Cincinnati, Illinois Wesleyan and DePauw

Illinois are to attend the sorority’s international reunion .to be held | at the Propylaeum Saturday. Eta Chapter at DePauw will be the hostess group with the Indianapolis Alumnae Club president, Miss Mary Ann Tall, in charge of the program. A round table discussion will feature the morning program. Like two of the other new offie cers, she is a Smith College alume na. She was togged smartly yester= day in a blue ensemble—a fluffy

light grey fox collar topping her blue coat. An edging of red peeped above a white band around her wide-brimmed blue straw hat. She has a young daughter, Nancy, who soon will be joining her mother in canters at the R. H. Brown Stables. If Nancy follows in the footsteps of her mother, she will be winning blue ribbons ‘in shows. Mrs. Hoke, retiring recording secretary, will take office in June with the other new officers: Mrs. Booth Jameson, vice president; Mrs. Grier M. Shotwell, recording secretary; Miss Elizabeth Watson, corresponds ing secretary, and Mrs. Hugh Carpenter, city editor. Mrs. Wilson Mothershead was re-elected treasurer.| . Mrs. Hoke’s office entitles her to represent the branch at the Association of Junior Leagues of Ameri~ ca, Inc. conference in Chicago May 17 to 20. Mrs. Henry C. Atkins Jr, - was chosen as the other delegate.

Success as Author

Mrs. Jameson is a member with literary leanings; she is active in the branch’s Scribblers Club. She has a common interest. with her husband, who has made a name for himself in the field of literature like - his famous uncle, Booth Tarkington. He is Mr. Tarkington’s namesake, and appropriately has been a suce cess as an author. Both Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Shotwell have worked with Mrs, Hoke in the glee club, and Mrs. Shotwell and Mrs. Mothershead have shared interests with her in the Smith College Club. These new executives are taking the places of Miss Eunice Dissette, president; Mrs. John P, Collett, vice president; Miss Helen Sheerin, corresponding secretary. Mrs. Jameson is retiring city editor. Before this season ends the new leaders will decide the directors of the leagues’ various branches of endeavor: Riley Hospital occupational therapy department, Trading Post, theater and Braille committees, as well as other committee heads. For the rest of the season league members will continue their: chosen assignments in the various branches of work. Next year with the inauguration of the new regime, they may sign for a different activity,
