Receiver for Utility Seeks $2800 in Cash Assets Reported Disappeared.

Wayne, who are suing the city for $9600 for materials used in expanding the electric ctric plant.

A total of $66,872 more has bein spent in alterations to residences and business buildings here during the first three months of 1937 than during the same period of 1936, ¢:- cording to Building Commissioner George R. Popp. Permits for alterations costiig $209,118 have been issued by te Building Commission during the list three months. The 1936 total ior the period was $142,316. Permits for new business stru:tures total $677,195 against $64,739 the first three months last year. Permits amounting to $615,285 residential construction were issucd the first three months of this yeir compared with $386,291 the first quarter last yes last year.
