Fritz, Democrats, opposed the | suspension of rales necessary for | immediate adoption of the resolu- | tion. Mis. Dowd said that Chief Morrissey’s action against John Dalton, | former detective sergeant, and De- | tective Sergt. John Dugan had | “cleared everything up” and that an | additional probe was unnecessary. Mr. Fritz said there was no neces= sity for ‘great haste” and that the matter should be referred to the Police Merit Board or the Safety | Board.
