ident Roosevelt's committee which | studied European co-operatives for

two and a half months recommended today in its report that the Government undertake a survey of similar U. 8. organizations. The committee, composed of experts who visited nine European countries, said that the survey should determine the extent of cooperatives in the United States, their major social and economic effects and the conditions under which they develop.
