SNEAK THIEVES ARE BUSY HERE
POLICE REPORT
Prowler Enters Apartment, Frightens Women and Escapes With Cash.
A burglar early today broke into an apartment house at 5622 E. Washington St., Alma and Mary Kirk, who live there, and fled with a small amount of money.
The intruder, the women said, wore a stocking cap and when he climbed through an unlocked window, reached by a ladder, ne flashed a light in their faces. “Are vou going to yell?” quoted him as saying. Frightened by their screams, they said he left and climbed back down the ladder. Mrs. Harold York, 5129 Brookville Road, told police that she was awakened early today when a prowler shined a flashlight in her face from a bedroom window. She
