PAUL J. STOKES, Management Institute research director, died today in Methodist Hospital after an illness of 10 days He came to Indianapolis in 1922. He was Babson Statistical Service associate editor, National Retail Hardware Association research director, Indianapolis Association of Credit Managers treasurer and leader of the Economic Forum. Mr. Stokes, who was 42, was born in Jacksonboro, O. He was graduated from Miami University, where he was elected to membership In Phi Beta Kappa, honorary scholastic fraternity. dent of Indianapolis 40 years. She was a member of the Central Hebrew Congregation, Knesses Israel and Talmud Tora. Surviving are the husband, Jacob Saperstein, and two sons, B. Herman Saperstein and Morris Saperstein.
