Veteran Employees of Firm To Hold Annual Banquet Tomorrow. The annual banquet’ for members
of the Kingan & Co. Old Timers Club is to be held tomorrow night
in the Kingan dining hall, Black-
ford and Maryland Sts.,, Thomas E. O’Connor, president, has announced. The club is composed of employees who have served 20 or more years. There are 377 members. The following company, officials are to be guests of honor: W. R. Sinclair, president; A. C. Sinclair, vice president; Clarence Keehn,
vice president; Kenneth D. L. Sinclair, Belfast, Ireland, European manager and a company director;
Will G. Irwin, Samuel B. Sutphin
and Russell L. White, directors. Other officers of the club in addition to Mr. O'Connor are Edward Whitney, vice president; Martin
Hession, - secretary, and Pliney F.
Fox, treasurer. Seven club members have served 50 years or longer. They include:

NEC to Open Branches for Old-Age Pensioners, Manion Says.
Brangh offices in six Indiana cities are being established to administer Federal old-age benefits program under the Social Security Act, according to Clarence Manion, National Emergency Council state director. Floor space has been leased in Evansville, Ft. Wayne, Gary, Muncie, Richmond and Terre Haute. The offices are to open within a short time. ‘An Indianapolis. office is in operation. 5
Workers, wage records and claim
adjudication are to be maintained in the field offices, and information is tobe available for employers or employees. A small staff for each office is to be drawn from civil service lists, Mr. Manion said.
JOBLESS FUND EARNS $23,953 INTEREST
Indiana’s unemployment compensation fund earned interest totaling $23,953.28 during the final quarter of 1936, Clarence A. Jackson, division director, announced today. The fund is deposited in trust with the United States Government and has been earning interest at a
rate of approximately 212 per cent, ||
Mr. Jackson said. Latest figures show the fund has reached approximately $5,500,000, or an average of about $9 for each of more than 600,00 Hoosier employees covered by unemployment insurance.
