Townsend Awaits Call From Lansing

Governor Townsend today was awaiting word from Governor Frank Murphy of Michigan regarding the outcome of peace conferences on the General Motors strikes. The Governor said he might be called to Lansing, Mich., to participate in the conference in connection with strikes in the Indiana plants of the corporation. He pledged his full co-operation to Governor Murphy in a telegram yesterday afternoon and later the two talked by telephone. HUSBAND AND WIFE DIE 9 HOURS APART

Times Special MARKLEVILLE, Ind. Jan. 15.— Double funeral services will be held here tomorrow for Mr. and Mrs. Manilla Quentin Eubank, who died nine hours apart Wednesday. They had been married 58 years. They had been patients at the Madison County Infirmary for two WEEKS.
