Candle Service

Following a custom of many years, the First Reformed Church is to hold its annual candle-light service on Christmas Eve from 11 p. m. to midnight. The traditional service begins with a group of ancient carols. Following the procession of the candles, the Christmas story is to be read, with special musical numbers interspersed. A brief meditation by the pastor, the Re?. C. J. G. Russom, and a candle-lighting ceremony are to conclude the service.
