The Central States meet, which has been in progress at the Pritchett Alleys for the last three week-ends, again will entertain out-of-town bowlers, with some of the top-notch

Tyner tossed games of 200, 239 and 235 for a 674 in the Indianapolis Star's matinee session to set the pace, while Hulvey and Shaw in their Transportation League games posted totals of 668 and 653. Lichtenberg and O’Connor turned | in series of 636 and 622 in topping the scoring of the St. Joan of Arc loop at ‘the Uptown Alleys. The former's Charles Denby Cigar quintet won the only shutout victory of the session, O’Connor’s Lanagan Furnitures taking ‘the shellacking. The lone honor series of the 14team Fraternal League was turned in by Styers, who in his trio of efforts totaled 634. Five of the seven team matches resulted in shutouts for the winners, Beck Coal & Coke, Pittman-Moore, United Dental, Berghoffs and George Cram Co., being the three-time victors. The league rolls at the Illinois. Charley Hessman finished ‘two pins up on Johnnie Murphy to take Courthouse League honors at the Pennsylvania. The former had ‘a 630 and Murphy 628.
