Event to Be Staged Over Two Week-Ends; Leaguers Pound Maples.

BY BERNARD HARMON

Local bowling teams, with their Central States games behind them, today looked forward to the annual Pot-0’-Gold tournament that opens at the Antlers Alleys Saturday. The event continues through Sunday and is to wind up over the following week-end. The Antlers event has proved one of the most popular of house tournaments in the past and entries in the coming affair are expected fo surpass those of recent years. The mew handicapping system, giving teams 80 per cent of the difference petween their average and 1020, has pttracted the attention of lowerveraged aggregations, and a score the “minor leaguers” are out to a slice of the prize melon. Norman B. Hamilton, City Assoclation secretary, is in charge of the meet, and information may be had from him or Lorenz Wiesman, manpger of the Antlers Alleys. Last night's session of the IndianKoalis League at the Pritchett Alleys urnished the scoring highlights of the various loops in action. Paul Btemm, in pacing his Marott Shoes fo the top team series of the evening, rolled up 4 total of 691 to outgistance all soloists.

Manjet Schonecker with 657, Earl Goodue with 636 and Neil King with B10 featured for the Fendrich team. The Bowes quintet soared over 3000 mark with 92 pins to spare, ng 1060 and a pair of 1016s for Bie series. The opposing PackMotors halted the shutout asirations of their rivals with a 1029 1 game.
