Fillion, William Freund and John Garrett. The Guild's Christmas ‘party for Sunnyside patients is to be heid Tuesday with Mrs. G. B. Morrison and Mrs. James Seward, program co-chairman. Louie Loew’s orchestra is to provide music and Miss Barbara Ann Moore is to dance. Refreshments are in charge of Mrs. Maxwell Lang and Mrs. Root.

Clubs to Back Presentation Of ‘Messiah’

For the sixth consecutive holiday season, the Irvington Union of Clubs is to sponsor a presentation of Handel’s “Messiah” by a community chorus. The program is to be held at 3 p. m.. Sunday, Dec. 13, in the Irvington Methodist Church auditorium. A silver offering is to be used for Christmas charity work of the Union. Soloists for the “Messiah” include Marian Thomas, soprano; Maxine Moore, contralto; Farrell Scott, tenor and Alfred Halliday, ‘bass. J. Russell Paxton, Technical High School music department head, is director of the chorus of 80 voices. Mrs. Dorothy Knight Green is organist. Mrs. Arthur R. Robinson, arrangements chairman, has as her aids Mesdames John Paul Ragsdale, Tom 8. Elrod, Charles A. Harris, Luther Shirley, John M. Smith and R. R. Hamilton and Miss Adelaide Conte.

Pageant Listed For Meeting of Jewish Women

“Chanukah Invocation,” a pageant by the Kirshbaum Center Religious School, is to be presented meeting of the Indianapolis Section, Council of Jewish Women, at 2:15 p. m. Monday at the Center. A motion picture on the prevention of tuberculosis and a book review of I. J. Singer’s “The Brothers Ashkenazi” by Mrs. Kathryn Turney Garten also are on thc program.
