MRS. NORA BLACKWELL, wife of John J. Blackwell, funeral dir, who died yesterday morning at her home, 5323 Washam, iY to be buried tomorrow morning in Holy Cross Cemetery. Funeral Services are to be held at 9 a. m. in .8t. Joan of Arc Church. Mrs. Blackwell, 74, had been ill six weeks.
Surviving are the widower; three sons, Thomas, John and Francis; ‘three daughters, Misses Grace and Blackwell, and Mrs. John PF. McCool, all of Indianapolis.
JAMES PERRY, said to be Indiana’ s oldest member of the Grand Army of the Republic, is to be buried Wednesday afternoon Crown Hill Cemetery, following services at 2 o'clock at the home. He died last night in his home, 2425 College-av. Perry was 97. He was born in Pennsylvania and served with the 134th Ohio Volunteers during the Civil War. He came to In- - dianapolis in 1889 and retired from business 25 years ago. Survivors are five sons, Sherman, Walter, Ed, Ralph, and Dick Perry; four daughters, Mrs. Lucille Bradley, Mrs. Edythe Scott, Mrs. Velma . Hawkins, and Mrs. Fannie Bean; and a brother, William Perry.

The Decatur exhibitors were Willard Bainbridge, Roderick Tetrick, Paul Schroeder and Charles and David Shirk, all Greensburg High School pupils. Summit View, owned by Robert B. Rhoades, Indianapolis, won second place in the jumping horse class; Dafe Home, owned by Dr. P. O. Bonham, Indianapolis, was third; White Oak, Maple Stables, Indianapolis, was fourth. Purdue University was third in judging and Robert H. Parkinson, 21, Frankfort, Ind., Purdue student, placed third individually.
