ROBERT MUNN, PAINT EXPERT, DIES ON TRAIN

Indianapolis Firm Director Is to Be Buried Here Tomorrow.

ROBERT J. MUNN, Lilly Varnish Co. general superintendent, who died yesterday in Louisville, Ky., is to be buried in Crown Hill Cemetery tomorrow afternoon following funeral services at 3 in the home. Members of Mr. Munn's family, who live at 4237 Park-av, received conflicting reports of his death. It was understood that he was found dead in his Pullman berth when the train he was on entered the Louisville station. Mr. Munn, who was 65, had been associated with the Lilly Varnish Co. since 1921, and was a director of the firm. He was recognized as an authority on paints and varnishes and was president of the Indianapolis, Cincinnati and Dayton Club. Mr. Munn, born in Pittsburgh, Pa., came to Indianapolis from Cleveland, O., where he had been associated with the Glidden Varnish Co. Survivors are the widow, Edna, and a daughter, Mrs. August Hoffman, both of Indianapolis.

& Buchanan mortuary. Burial is to | be in the Little Eagle Cemetery. Dr. Selburne, who was 79, was born in Zionsville and was a member of the St. Paul M. E. Church, Broad Ripple, Masons’ Centre Lodge and the Scottish Rite and American Medical Association. He was graduated from the Indiana University medical school in 1889, later taking post graduate work in New York. He practiced medicine in‘Zionsville eight years and came to Indianapolis in 1900. Survivors are the widow, Maggie, and five brothers, Samuel, Jasper and Leander Shelburne, Zionsville, and Henry and Perry Shelburne, both of Denver, Col.

ALVIN ELBRECHT, a resident of Indianapolis all his life, died yesterday in Methodist Hospital, after an illness of two weeks. Funeral services are to be held at 1:30 Friday afternoon in the home at 2 at the Friedens Church. Burial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Elbrecht was 41 and lived at 338 Terrace-av. He was born in Indianapolis and formerly was instructor in the Indianapolis Motor School. For 25 years he had been employed as an interior decorator and general contractor. He enlisted in the United States Navy in May, 1918, and was stationed in France as a first class mechanic in| naval aviation. Survivors are. the widow, Mrs. | Alma Elbrecht; a son, Vernon; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Sabel, Winimac, and Mrs. Bertha Rahe, Indianapolis, and a brother, Willlam Elbrecht, also of Indianapolis.

WILLIAM G. MASCHMEYER, a resident of Indianapolis 51 years, died yesterday at his home, 106 Troy-av, after a long illness. He was 87. Funeral services are to be held at 2 tomorrow afternoon in the home. Burial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Maschmeyer was born. in Westphalen, Germany. PARDEE M’KERN, Indianapolis contractor and builder, died suddenly yesterday while at work on a home near Butler University. Mr. McKern, who lived‘at 4837 Manloveav, had been ill several weeks. He was 59 Funeral services are to be held at 10:30 tomorrow morning in the Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary, with burial in Crown Hiil Cemetery. Mr. McKern was born in Dover. He served in the army during the World War and was a resident of Indianapolis 35 years, He was married to Miss Anna Stover, Crawfordsville, in August, 1934. She is the only immediate survivor.

MRS. ROSA M’CUNE, Indiana resident 29 years, died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Barr, 254 Bakemeyer-st, following a 10 months’ illness. The body is at the G. H. Herman Funeral Home. Funeral services are. to be held at 2 Friday afternoon in the Church of Jesus Christ of ° Latter Day Saints, where she was a member. Burial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. McCune, who was 80, was born in Kentucky. She was married Oct. 3, 1879, to Cornelius McCune at Dillsboro, Ind.
