Sixth Annual Project Opens to Aid Charity
Leaders and Guardians Supervise and Help With Program.
Camp Fire Girls, leaders and guardians alike, have but one thought these days—the mending of broken dolls and toys for Christmas distribution by church societies, clubs and individual families. Tonight, following the Guardians’ Association meeting at the Citizens
Gas and Coke Utility Co. cooking school auditorium, members are to adjourn to the Camp Fire Doll Shop, 45 Union Trust Building, to paint and repair broken dolls and toys collected for the annual Christmas charity project. Mrs. Wendell Phillips, association president, is to lead the group both at the business session and during the doll project. Three movie parties are to he given Saturday for benefit of the project. Admission to shows at the Tuxedo, Garfield and Oriental theaters at 10 a. m. is to be new or old repairable toys. The Uptown, Emerson and Ritz Theaters have held “doll parties.”
Branch Shop New
The headquarters, which opened yesterday in the Murphy Building, are to continue until Christmas under guidance of Camp Fire guardians. A new feature of the sixth annual project is the branch shop in the Union Trust Building. At this shop, members of high school Camp Fire groups, with Mrs. Verna McIntyre and Mrs. A. L. Jenkins, directing, are to conduct a doll hospital. Assisting are Mesdames W. D. Little, George Hummel, A. W. Richter, Albert Mueller and Mrs. Phillips and Miss Doris Brady and Miss Kathleen Klaiber. Approximately 10,000 toys are repaired annually during. the drive.

Miss Bernice A. Day is to be maid of honor at the wedding of Miss Louise B. Ewell and Willard F. Bates which is to take place at 9 a. m. Thanksgiving Day at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Scout Convention to Be Reviewed
The Girl Scouts’ recent convention at Cincinnati is to be reviewed at round table discussions from 10 a8. m. to 3:30 p. m. Thursday at the Little House. Council members, troop leaders and committee mem-bers-are to meet. Miss Ruth Pease, director, and Mrs. E. Starling Pearce, Brownie leader, are to lead discussions.

Skeet Shooters to Enter Meet
at French Lick
Invitational Event will Mark Opening of New Range.
BY BEATRICE BURGAN Society Editor ‘ OCAL skeet shooters are to go to French Lick to participate in the French Lick Springs Hotel's first invitational shoot Nov. 28 and 29. The event is to celebrate the opening of the range. Mr, and Mrs. W. Hathaway Sime mons, on whose estate is located the Crow's Nest Skeet Club range, are to go to the resort. with Mr. and Mrs. Russell J. hile Ryan, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wolcott and Mr. and Mrs. W. Richardson Sinclair. Mrs. Thomas Taggart, Miss Lucy Tagart and Eva Taggart will be on the sidelines to see Mr. and Mrs. Simmons, Mr. Ryan, Mr. Wolcott and Mr. Sinclair enter in the competition. Two events are-scheduled each day, and trophies are to be awarded to men, women, juniors and mixed teams. ' The skeet field and several trap ranges are on a hilltop, close to the * hotel. .
