D. T. Weir, assistant schools superintendent, is to be the principal speaker during a program tonight at School 7, 748 Bates-st. A double string quartet from Technical High School is to entertain. Mrs. Schellert is to direct a speaking choir in the recitation of poems, and the intermediate choir is to sing. Open house programs Aare scheduled tonight at School 9, Fulton and Vermont-sts, and at School 10, 1255 Carrollton-av. Safety and traffic problems are to be discussed by Sergt. A. C. Magenheimer during a program at 8 p. m. at School 24, 1230 S. Illinois-st. A safety play by pupils ds, to be another feature of the program. Parents have been invited to another auditorium program to be held this afternon at School 35. Open house is to follow tonight. Pupils are to explain how school work is done when parents visit School 41, 3002 Rader-st, from 7 to 9 p. m. today. Man training work is to be exhibited.

Safety Forum Held A public safety forum‘was held at 9 a. m. today at School 57, 5435 E. Washington-st. Classes in art and music as correlated with social studies are to be conducted in Grades 6A and 6B for the benefit of parents at School 61, 1233 Shelbyst, from 7:30 to 8:30 p. m. today. School 36 is to remain open until 10 p. m. today to enable parents to visit all departments. All rooms at School 51, 2301 Olney-st, are to display pupils’ work to parents tonight.
