By BSeripps-Howard Newspaper Alliance WASHINGTON, Nov. 13, — By Dec. 31 America’s smokers will have consumed about 149,800,000,000 cigarets this year, or about 15,200,000,000 more than in 1935, figures prepared by the Bureau of Agricultural Economics indicated today. Cigaret withdrawals for the first seven months-of 1936 were 87,400,000,000, or 11 per cent over 1935. At the present rate of consumption, 1936 cigaret tax revenues %will amount to.about $449.400,000. Collections in the last fiscal year were $425,486,000.
