results of Tuesday's election showed |
today. In the House of Representatives, where all 100 segts were up for con- | test, the Democrats élected 77, an increase of 12 seats over the num-
ber they held at the last session. Twenty-six of the 50 Senate seats were up for contest, and the Deniocrast scored 23 victories, returns showed. By counting holdover members, the Democrats have a 38 to 12 majority in the upper house. Newly elected members to the General Assembly include:

LEGION ANNOUNCES WEEK'S ACTIVITIES
Armistice Day and dedication of the Roberts School for Handicapped Children dental clinic are to be highlights of next week's American Legion activities-here. Post and auxiliary -units are to attend dedicatdry rites at the Roberts school next Thursday. MunicIpal Judge Wilfred Bradshaw, District Legion commander, is to speak. Armistice Day activities ' include a parade, luncheon in the Hotel Antlers, and a Legion drum corps dance in the Hooster Athletic Club.
