Thespis Club to Present ‘House of Juke’ and ‘Flattering World.’ Two plays have been scheduled by
the Thespis Dramatic Society of Butler University for presentation
this month, Dave Thompson, presi-|
dent, announced today. “House of Juke,” by Valentine L. Davies, is to be presented Nov. 19 and 20, and “Flattering World,” by George Kelly, has been scheduled for presentation Nov. 21. Both are to be given in the Thespis workshop, Jordan Hall, Both plays have large casts, enahiing most members of the society to act in the two productions, Mr. Thompson said. Mrs. Jane Ogburn Bruce will be the director.
Organization “of a a co-ed hiking club at Butler University has been announced with Jane Ludwig as president. The organization is to sponsor week-end hikes. The first one is scheduled on next Priday afternoon. Committee members for the first hike are Betty Jane Grauel, Jean Knowlton and Ellen Jean Willcutts.
