Actress-Wife of Novelist to Be Buried in New York.
MRS. MARJORIE POTTS MARQUIS, actress-wife of Don Margqilis, the author, and native of Indianapolis, who died yesterday, was buried in New York today following Ses vices at the home, 276 Riverside-
Mrs. Marquis was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. F. Potts. Her father was a well-known attorney here. She previously was married to Walter Vonnegut. They were divorced in 1925.Mrs. Marquis had extensive theatrical experience in the East, and had been director of the Red Barn Theater, widely known summer playhouse on Long Island. The late Percy Hammond praised her work in “Ah Wilderness.” DR. HARRY O. PRITCHARD, general secretary of the Board of Education of the Disciples of Christ, who died Saturday at his home, 357 Downey-av, is to be buried tomorrow afternoon at Memorial Park Cemetery. Last rites are to be held at 2:30 p. m. tomorrow at the Downey Avenue Christian Church with the Rev. Bert R. Johnson, pastor, presiding. Others taking part in the rites are to be the Rev. Clarence Lemmon, Columbia, Miss.;: Stephen J. Corey, United Christian Missionary Society president, and Dr. Joseph Todd, Indiana School of Religion. Randolph-st, yesterday following an illness of two days. He was 57. Mr. Doyle operated a barber shop at’ 3712 E. 25th-st since 1911. He was a native of Daviess County, a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Holy Cross Catholic Chruch. Funeral services are to be held in the home at 8:30 a. m. tomorrow und at 9 a. m. in Holy Cross Church. Burial is to be in Holy Cross Cemetery. WILL E.
