21 SECTIONS IN LANDON PARADE
Charge of Garth B. Melson.
Marion County Republican organizations are to have 21 sections in the Landon parade Saturday afternoon. Garth B. Melson is to be masshal of the county contingent, Clarence R. Martin, chairman of the county G. O. P. committee's speakers’ bureau, announced today. Twenty aids to Mr. Melson are: James Bingham, Sidney S. Miller, J. Prank Cantwell, Paul F. Rhoadarmer, William P. Evans, William Higgins, Paul Summers, Vayne M. Armstrong, Charles Babcock, George N. Ross, Joe Rand Beckett, Daniel Glossbrenner, Myron Cossler, Richard Hobs, James T. Hurt, J. Burdette Little, Donald Stackhouse, J. Perry Meek, John J. McShane and James Mangus. Organizations in the county participating in the county sections the parade are: LandonClub, Springer-for-Governor- ub, Young Republicans, Republican veterans organizations, Republican Volunteers, Republican Minute Men, Irvington Women's Republican Club, Society of Republican Women, business men’s division, foreign voters’ division, Jewish committee, labor committee, Jeffersonian Democrats, Independent Coalition of American Women, Women’s Republican Club of Indianapolis, Indiana Women’s Republican Club, Marion County Council of Republican Women, Washington Township Republican Club, First and Second Ward Republican Club, McKinley Club, Irvington Republican Club and Warren Township Republican Club.
Eight G. 0. P. Meetings Here Outlined
Eight political meetings have been scheduled for today and tonight by the Marion County Republican Committee. They are: Mrs. Florence K.
Thacker, Dilling Candy Co. noon, and 5 p. m.,, a Republican women’s dinner in the Negro Y. W. C. A. Charles W. Jewett, Robert Lee Brokenburr and Frank Beckwith, also are to speak ot the Negro “Y” meeting. Other meetings are set for 8 tonight at 812 Park-av, 1907 W. Morris-st, 908 S. Meridian-st, 429 N. Bradley-st, 927 College-av, and 1219%; N. Senate-av.

College Democratic Clubs Elect Officers
By United Press FRANKLIN, Ind, Oct. 22.— Officers of the newly formed Young People’s Democratic Club of Franklin College include Albert McLean, Milan, Tenn, president; Miss Alice Jane Haugham, Franklin, vice president, and Miss Janet Brown, Milwaukee, Wis., secretary. The club plans to hold a party rally.

Local Broadcasts
The Marion County Republican Central Commitiee today began morning broadcasts for party support at the polls, with Mrs. Daisy Doglass Barr as the speaker at 10. Clarence R. Manion, county speakers’ bureau chairman, also announced an afternoon broadcast at 3:55 to 4 p. m. William P. Evans was to be the first afternoon speaker. The broadcasts are to continue until election day.
