MRS. CAROLINE STUERTZ, native of Germany, died yesterday in the home of her daughter, Mrs. Marie May, 1839 Singleton-st, following an illness of six years. She was 79. Funeral services are to be held ‘at 2 p. m. tomorrow in the home of Mrs. May. Burial is to be in- Concordia Cemetery. The Rev. W. C. Meinzen, Emmaus Evangelical Church pastor, is to have charge of services. Mrs. Stuertz had been a resident of Indianapolis 43 years and was a member of the Emmaus Church. Survivors are a son, Fred Stuertz; her daughter, Mrs. May; five grandchildren and two great-grandchil-dren.
