Higher Salaries Needed to, Attract Capable Men, | ~ McCabe Contends. |

McCabe, state probation director, today advocated state subsidy of | probation officers’ salaries. “Stipends are too low to attract | the type of individuals to this sérv- | | =e that standards of the probation | “division require,” Dr, McCabe said | in his report for the year ending | June 30.
