Twelve outstanding lecturers were

announced today for the Indianapo§is Town Hall, which opens its sixth season Oct. 24 at the Columbia Club Town Hall sessions are held Saturdays at 11 2. m. The audienge is to be invited to question the speaker in open forum following the lecture. A luncheon also follows the program with the speaker as honor guest again answering questions on the day's topic. Fannie Hurst First

The first lecture is to be given by Fannie Hurst, aut hor, Oct. 24. Mis: Hurst, who has tten many short stories and om is to talk on “Literary Airways.” The second lecture is scheduled Oct. 31 when Dr. Emil Ludwig, German exile, historian and biographer, ifs to talk on “Living Makers of History.”

Sept. 18. — Two fires and a cat call kept firemen here busy for 25 minutes yesterday. | They had just finished extracting a defiant cat from a tree and were going back to the station when the siren sounded and they had to hurry to the Harrold-Fisher factory, where they extinguished a small blaze. Again they started back to the station, but this time encountered a motorist whose car was on fire.
