Mr. Evans was division director of the Children’s and Minors’ Service Division of the Cook County (Ill) Bureau of Public Welfare, before coming to the university. Registration for the social work training course began yesterday, and classes are to begin Tuesday. Ford Hall, head of the department of government, is to give a new course on the American Federal Government at the extension division. Mr. Hall is .to deal with the organization and functions of | government, regulation of business, | the tariff, citizenship, immigration, judicial review of legislation and | the. merit system. The class is to! meet on Friday evenings.

Miss Gretchen Rerip Miss Elena Raglin and A. Leslie Carey have keen added to the Manual Training High School faculty. Miss Raglin joined the physical training staff. Mr. Carey is teaching mechanical drawing in place of Winfield S. Hiser, retired. Miss Kemp, besides taking over her duties in the English department, also will reside as sponsor of the Booster, the school’s weekly paper. Miss Kemp is a graduate of Butler University.
