Disciples of Christ Clergy Attending Sessions at Chicago.
: Times Special | CHICAGO, 11, July 30.—Two In- . dianapolis pastors are to speak here tomorrow at sessions of the annual - pastors institute being held jointly y of Chicago divinity school, Chicago Theological - Seminary and the Disciples Divinity House. . Dr. James A. Crain, secretary of the depdrtment of social education, United Christian Missionary Society, Indianapolis, is scheduled to be the discussiont leader Priday afternoon. Dr. William A. Shullenberger, pastor of the Central Christian Church, Indianapolis, is to be the . discussion leader at the closing session Friday night. In connection with the institute, _ leaders of the Disciples are holding the fortieth annual meeting of the Campbell Institute, a college graduates’ organization of that denomination. Several hundred are to attend. | The pastors institute was opened with ‘a worship service at the Unitversity of Chicago chapel, at which Dr. Ivan Lee Holt, St. Loulis, Mo., résident of the Federal Council of hurches of Christ in America, spoke on “A New Strategy for rotestantism.”

Laborers Are to Return to Work on Building at I. U. Times Special . | BLOOMINGTON, Ind. July 30.— Laborers were to return to work today on the new Indiana University Medical School Building following settlement yesterday of a 24-day strike over a 10 cents an hour wage increase. Dustin McDonald, common laborers’ union business agent, said the increase would be granted early next month.

Ohio, from severe burns suffered late yesterday when he was struck by lightning. The bolt struck a fishing boat, the
Catfish, knocking the Senator down. He was unconscious: for nearly half an hour, but was revived as the hoat neared shore. Both “hands were severely burned. “I feel numb; I wiht to lie down,” the Senator said when he was taken from the Catfish.
