Shelby Sheriff Moves to Drive Out Marble Machines, Punch Boards.

day on alleged gambling devices in Shelby County. - ‘Sheriff Ralph Brown, after conferring with Prosecutor Harold Barger yesterday, served public notice that marble machines, punch boards and other alleged gambling devices must go. Owners and operators of machines in Morristown, Gwynneville, Rays Crossing, Fairland and Flat Rock
are to be charged Friday in court |

Protests against alleged pollution of Pleasant Run in the southern
part of the city have been received, according to Dr. Herman G. Morgan, City Health Bodrd secretary. He said the department is co-oper-ating with the Stat? Health Department in an effort to remedy the reported situation.
