Cornelia Otis Skinner to Give Radio Drama

no point in announcing that the King of England and the President of France are to be ‘on the air at 7:13 a. m. tomorrow. But

early risers will want to hear what promises to be an interesting broadcast—the dedication of the

Canadian National War Memorial |

at Vimy Ridge. ~ WGN is to move its Sunday schedule up 47 minutes to carry the Mutual rebroadcast of the ceremony, and WLW will come on at 7:30 o'clock. Cangdian Radio Commission facilities are to supply Mutual with the program, while NBC will rebroadcast a British Broadcasting Co. airing. Tomorrow is the twentieth anniversary of. the Canadian victory at Vimy Ridge, one of history's great battles. King Edward VIII “15 to unveil the monument and make the principle dedicatory speech. President LeBrun and Canada’s Premier MacKenzie King also are to be heard, and the audience is expected to include 6000 Canadian veterans and a host of distinguished celebrities. : sn 8 A cooling and cheering contribution, on the heels of the recent heat wave and her tragic “Liebestratm” of last week, will be Cornelia Otis Skinner's radio play, “Christmas Morning,” tomorrow night. It’s the story of an average family, Pa, Ma and the two kids, gathered about the tree on any Dec. 25. Eliott Jacoby’s® arrangement of familiar Yuletide music will . enhance the unseasonable

” » o If Kathleen Norris can live up to her reputation as a conversationalist and wit, established for her by Alexander Woollcott in “While Rome Burns,” her dramatic debut on the Magic Key program tomorrow should be a hit. The famous novelist is to do a role in a scene from her own play, “The Life of Queen Victoria,” in a Los Angeles microphone appearance. And Bill Robinson is to be on the same program, blending his as-
