July 24.—Two operators and an owner of slot machines were fined- yesterday in Police Court by Judge Robert. Smith. Those fined were C. IL. Million, owner of Spanish Inn; Ralph Grady, operajor of Red Brick Inn, and Phil Hardin, Fortville. Hardin was fined as an owner of the machines. Judge Smith said he would ask grand jury action if slot machines did not disappear in Madison County before the October term of court. i e——————————
