Four hard-cooked eggs, lettuce, mayonnaise, white bread. Cut bread about as thick as you would for serving at the table, allowing one whole slice across the loaf for each serving. Here is the recipe for the main dish: Four tablespoons butter, 4 tablespoons flour, 2 cups milk, 1 teaspoon salt, 1-4 teaspoon white pepper, 6 hard cooked eggs, 2 cups cooked green peas. Melt butter in a sauce pan, stir in flour and cook over a low fire until bubbly. Add milk, stirring constantly, and cook until mixture boils. Add salt and pepper, peas
