Plans for a downtown street parade with floats burlesquing the New Deal, preceding a G. O. P. rally, June 27, at Broad Ripple Park, were announced today. Raymond S. Springer, G. O. P. nomine fot Governor, is to speak at 3 p. m. The parade committee has planned floats to depict “downtrodden Democrats after being steamrollered,” the “three long years of Rooseveltism” and another float to be known as the “‘Spirit of 1936,” it was announced. The Marion County chapter of the Republican Veterans of Indiana, sponsors of the rally and parade, said delegations are expected to attend from every. Section of -the state. 5
