Rotary Club Subscribes Fund to Equip Medical Room at School.
The moadical unit of the new James E. Roberts School for Crip-
pled Children is to benefit from $1000 subscribed by the Indianapolis Rotary Club yesterday. A request for a contribution of $800 for equipment for the unit at the weekly luncheon at the Claypool resulted in the subscription. A. Dallas Hitz presented a detailed description of the school’s Work. The medical unit will eliminate the necessity of transporting the pupils from the school to clinics for examinations, he told the group. Paul C. Stetson, superintendent of ‘schools and chairman of the club’s crippled children committee, announced that the committee had investigated the school’s needs and found the medical unit an opportunity for service, “The quick and generous response of the Rotary Club is deeply gratifying to all interested in the school,” Mr. Stetson said. “In _ equipping the medical unit, the Rotary Club is carrying on its crippled children program in line with the work it already has done at Riley Hospital.” The new school, maintained jotly by the Indianapolis Foundation, the school city and the state, was made possible by the will of Mrs. Henrietta West Roberts, widow of James E. Roberts, a Federal grant of $90,000 and a $55,000 school bond issue. It is to be situated at 10th and Oriental-sts.
HOWARD RE-ELECTED HEAD OF PRINTERS
Named to Serve Seventh Term as International President.
The International Typographical Union today announced the re-elec-tion of Charles P. Howard, a proponent of industrial unionism, as president for his seventh term. In an official tally Mr. Howard received 20,482 votes to 21,252 for Hugh B. McGann, Houston, Tex. Additional administration members also were re-elected to office. The vote included: First vice president, Claude M. Baker, San Francisco, Cal., 31,785; Charles T. Laffin, Hartford, Conn, 18,141, Second vice president, Francis G. Barrett, New York, 28,326; William P. McConnell, New York, 15,333; Thomas J. Gethins, Boston, Mass., 5674. Secretary-treasurer, Woodruff Randolph, Chicago, 33,175; Clarence J. Desper, Washington, 16,733.

Three Trustees Are Named for Anderson College,

Officers named included: Anderson College trustees (fiveyear terms), A. F. Gray, Seattle, Wash.; Earl Martin, Anderson; F. G. Smith, Akron, O. Missionary board (five-year terms), M. Z. Monday, Bedford; W. C. Roark, Canton, O.; F. G. Smith, Akron, O. Speakers at yesterday's session included the Rev. C. E. Byers, Springfleld, O.; the Rev. H. M. Riggle, Rochester, and the Rev. A. T. Rowe, Anderson.
CHURCH TO SPONSOR FISH FRY ON LAWN
Fairview Women’s Group Arranges Three-Day Fete.
« The Fairview Presbyterian Church Women's Association is to sponsor a fish fry starting tomorrow night on the church lawn, 46th-st and Capitol-av, and concluding Saturday night. A pet parade and concert by the Newsboys band are to be held Thursday; a doll parade for girls, stunts for boys and an amateur contest, Friday; a military revue by children of the Brookside Community center under the supervision of Mrs. Norman Koster and a concert by the colored ¥. M. C. A. band, Saturday. Mrs. Ernest Spickelmier is general chairman.

SUMMER TERM OPENS MONDAY
Brother Leonard to Direct Cathedral Classes Up to July 31.
Brother Leonard, C. S. C., Cathedral High School vice principal, is to direct the Cathedral summer session to open Monday and continue to July 31. Registration is to take place from 9 to 4 Friday. Officials of the congregation of Holy Cross announced the complete faculty. Brother Bruno, C. 8. C,, is the only instructor with Brother Leonard to be returned from the regular faculty. Visiting teachers, all members of the Holy Cross order, include Brother Aidan, Brother Owen, Brother Francis Assisi, Brother Quentin, Brother Adalbert, Brother James, Brother Eric and Brother Lellis. Classes in all required high school subjects, with several elective courses, are to be taught every morning except Sundays. Fifty-five minutes of recitation and an equal period for supervised study are to be devoted to each subject. Application for reregistration indicate an increased attendance over previous years, authorities said. Special interest is being shown in courses offered in the commercial department for elective credit and in the preparatory and review courses offered for eighth grade graduates. One full credit is to be granted in all classes except the preperatory subjects and typewriting.
COUNTY-SUED FOR $1077
Creosoting Firm Claims Sum Due for Past Services.
Suit asking judgment of $1077 against members of the Marion County Board of Commissioners is on file today in Circuit Court. Filed by the Republic Creosoting Co., the complaint sets out that the plaintiff bridge lumber in 1934 and that the supplied the county with treated obligation has not been met.
