Ms. EFFIE B. STOKES, wife of John Wesley Stokes, founder of the Blokes drug stores in Indianapolis, 15 to be buried in Crown Hill today following services at 2 in the chapel of Central Christian Church. She died yesterday in her home, 224 E. 1 ~st, of heart disease. She ‘Was 69, ' Born in Johnson ‘County near lin, Mrs, Stokes came to Indianapolis when she was 12, Mr. and Mrs, Stokes were the first eouplé married in Central Church here. was an active worker in the Sunday school of the church. ' Survivors besides the widower are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. George Speis ,and two grandchildren, Miss Betty Jane Stokes and J. Walter Stokes, all of Indianapolis. . MISS EMILY JUTT, a resident of Louisville, Ky., is to be buried in Jasper Monday -following servfces at 9 in St. Joseph's Catholic Church there. She died in St. Vin-

Mrs. Bon died June 9, 1935. Mr. Bon is survived by a son, David McCulloch Bon, and a daughter, Miss Mary Ann Bon, both of Indianapolis, and & sigter, Mrs. Clarence L, Altemus, Mgntclair, N. J. WALTER A. FORD, who died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Fred Miller, 1431 Hoyt-av, is to be buried in Holy Cross Cemetery tomorrow morning, Services are to be held at the home at 8:30 and at St. Patrick's: Church at 9. Mr. Ford had been ill four years. He was 76 and had been a life-long 3esident of Indianapolis. He was a member of St. Patrick’s parish and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by Mrs. Miller and three sons, William Ford, John Ford and ‘Walter Ford, all of Indianapolis. "His wife died several years ago. MAX H.
