26 Graduates Recipients of Hampton Foundation Certificates.

John Hampden Holliday Jr. Foundation certificates, presented annually to Manual Training High School seniors having high scolarship records in their major subjects, have been awarded to 26 graduates. They are: Angelo Tngelopolous, Esther Katz, George Voida and Jessie Winkler, social studies; Helen Davis and Ruth Reimer, home economics; Ida Mae Studebaker, Hope Brown and Robert Mathews. commercial; Helen Hogan, Ruth Frost and Dorothy Fisher, physical education; Jud Jordan, mathematics; Herschel Kopp, Margaret Postma, Robert Mathews and Rose Ellen Berndt, science. Clarice Reimer, George Weber and Marcie Salzman, languages; James Allanson and Robert Hammel, shop; Alma DeBaun, English, and Geraldine Gilliatt, Mildred Finchin and Louis Kemmerer, music.

Other Awards Made

Principal E. H. Kemper McComb made special awards to meritous students. They were: The Bruce Robison Post presentations, which went to Alva Stoneburner and Betty Stich for outstanding citizenship and scholarship; the Alliance Francais medal {0 Caroine Patnick; Masoma Club award to Mildred Alice Boyle, Mildred Reimer and Ruth Sohn and language reading certificates to Mildred Ostermeier, Clarice Reimer ‘and Violet Throm in German, French and Latin respectively. | The D.
