Tour by Zonta J Club Arranged for Tomorrow Outing, Dinner Party to Be Held at Martinsville, Members of Indianapolis Zonta Club are to motor to the Old Homestead, Martinsville, tomorrow for an outing and dinner party. Dinner is to be served at 6. Games and bridge have been arranged by the committee, which includes Miss Anna Carpenter, Mrs. Carolyn Conrad and Miss Eva Jane Lewis. Mrs. Eleanor Saunders, Boston, Mass, a former club member visiting relatives in Indianapolis, is to be honor guest. Mrs. Willa Proctor, elub president, is to preside at the dinner.

GARDEN PARTY SET FOR TODAY Mothers and their children were to attend a garden party today at t he home of Mrs. Edmond W. Hebei, 3210 Rutherland-av, given by the parental education department, Indianapolis branch, American Association of University Women. Mrs. William E. Rogers is chairman and leader of the group. The party was arranged by Mrs. Karl Koehler. Mrs. Hebei, Mrs. Rogers, and Mrs. lan K. Joyce. The children were to wind a Maypole, and there were to be circle games and balloons and paper favors. The party is to close the group's meetings for the year. The year's work has included panel discussion on child and mother problems; child psychology, and a study of outlines prepared by the national organization. SORORITY ELECTS TO CONVENE HERE The 1937 Delta Sigma Kappa Sorority national convention is to be held in Indianapolis, it was announced today following adjournment of the sorority's meeting at Chicago. Newly elected sorority officers are Miss Hettie Brown, president; Mis.; Vera Young, vice president: Miss Lucile Curley, secretary, and Miss Mamie Nalley, treasurer. Newly-elected directors are Misses Margaret Smith, Helen Wilson. Helen Spurgeon, Maud Rhinehart and Ruth Carr. Donations to the scholarship fund maintained by the sorority are to allow two Indiana chapters to awaid two scholarships this year. CHARTER MEMBERS ARE TO BE GUESTS Charter members of Chapter G. of P. E. O. Sisterhood, are to be guest* at the chapter’s final meeting of the year Monday, which is to be a dinner at the Young Women’s Christian Association. Sisterhood continued today its three-day convention, which opened here yesterday under direction of Mrs. W. R. Craigle, Indianapolis, state president Mrs. Hattie Newell, St. Louis, supreme president, was honor guest. Last night's dinner was the only public meeting. The organization is the largest composed entirely of women in the country. Pounded in 1869, it maintains a million dollar scholarship fund, for the aid of needy girls.

Mrs. McDowell Renamed Head of Star Legion Indianapolis Chosen as Convention City for 1937. By Vnitrtl Prr*n HARTFORD CITY. Ind.. May 22. —Mrs. Charles K. McDowell, Indianapolis has been re-elected president of the Indiana Service Star Legion, organization of mothers of veterans, at the state convention here. Indianapolis was picked as the site of the 1937 convention. Vice-presidents elected at the closing session were: Mrs. W. J. Anderson, Hartford City; Mrs. Mary Feiser, Evansville; Mrs. Katherine Kirsch, Boonville, and Mrs. E. D. Miller, LaPorte. Mrs. George M. Moening, Evansville, was chosen chairman of the junior division; Mrs. Neil McAlpine, Michigan City, state secretary; Mrs. C. E. Lindenmeyer, Indianapolis, treasurer; Mrs. F. B.
