INDIANA FISHING POOH, WARDENS' REPORTS SHOW Muddy Waters Yield Carp, Catfish, Suckers in Fan Catches. Indiana game wardens have been looking at muddy rivers most of the week tod today report fishing poor except for carp, suckers and catfish. Hamilton and Tipton—-All streams milky. Carp and catfish are being taken. Fountain and Warren—All streams are up and muddy. Union and Fayette -Streams are clearing a little. Have had two heavy rains this week. White and Benton-~Bhafer and Freeman lakes are clear. Catfish are being taken •Jennings and Ripley Streams In Jennings County are muddy. East Indianapolis Post No. 13 is tc sponsor an East Side American Legion Week beginning Monday, Glenn Bertels, organization commander, has announced. Throughout the week, members of the past nre to appear by invitation before, civic bodies, Sunday school classes and womens clubs to explain the Legion’s program. Members of the Cosmopolitan Forum of the American Settlement, are to hear Humphrey Harrington, deputy prasecuting attorney speak on “law for the Layman,” tonight at 7:30. The advisory committee, headed by Harry Alexander, chairman, has arranged for this second meeting of the group. AUTO FOUND IN DITCH WEST OF SPEEDWAY Accident on Road 34 Unreported to Sheriff’s Office. Traffic was blocked for more •than an hour early today on Road i 34, one mile west of the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, while a wrecker pulled an automobile from a ditch into which it had plunged. The automobile was reported to be the property of Otto A. Asperger, 3405 Boulevard-pl. The sheriff's office was not notified. The car, apparently east-bound on Road 34, had crassed a bridge, then left the road and plunged into a 15-foot ditch. HOME-COMING IS~ SET Brookside Masonic Lodge Is to Have Program Saturday. Home-coming for past and present members of Brookside Masonic Lodge No. 720 is to be held tomorrow night at the temple, Gray and lOth-sts, Chester Jiutson, master of the lodge, announced today. Musical entertainment and dancing are to follow the dinner, Mr. Hutson said.
