LONG ILLNESS PROVES FATAL TO C. R. MYERS Former Board of Safety Chairman's Rites to Be Tomorrow. Funpral services for Charles R. Myers, who died last night In his home. 2323 Collegp-ave. after an illness of several months, are to be tomorrow afternoon in Flanner A- Buchanan Mor'Larv. Burial is to he in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mr. Myers, who was 77. was chairman of the Board of Safety In the administration of Mayor Reginald H Sullivan. For 3ft years he was an employe of the Big Four Railroad as claim and general agent. He was a graduate of Northwestern Christian University, now Butler University, and a member of the First English Lutheran Church and lodge f>oo. F. A. M. Survivors are the widow a brother. •John M.. and two sisters, Mrs. Emma V. Twiname and Mbs Anna R. Myers, all of Indianapolis.

Indianapolis, and a grandchild, Jo Anna Diederich. Harry A. McNeely Services for Harry A. McNeely, 3613 N. Pennsylvania-st, who died Wednesday in the Methodist Hospital after a long illness, are to be tomorrow’ at 2 in the McNeely Mortuary. Burial is to be in Crowm Hill Cemetery. Mr. McNeely. W’ho was 61, was born in Monroe County and had lived in Indianapolis 27 years. After 10 years in (he finance business, he retired three years ago. He w r as a member of the Broadway M. E. Church. Survivors are the widow; tw’o daughters, Mrs. Mabel Little, Santa Monica, Cal., and Mrs. Helen Mount, Beverley Hills, Cal., and two brothers, Fred B. and Frank McNeely, both of Indianapolis. Mrs. Lula P. Brown Rites for Mrs. Lula P. Brown, a former local resident, w’ho died on Wednesday at her home in Eaton following a six weeks’ illness, are to be at. 11 tomorrow’ in the North Side Seventh Day Adventist Church. Buiial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Browm was born and resided here until three years ago w’hen she went to Eaton. She w’as 57 years of age. There are no survivors. Thomas D. Typical activities of Mexico are depicted in murals orawn by 6B and 6A children of Room 6, School 2, Delaware and Walnutsts. The mural (above) shows Mexican women washing clothes and making tortillas. The entire room is decorated with colorful paintings and placques in the manner Mexican children decorate their rooms, according to Ethel E. Ward, teacher in charge of Room 6.

The mural, drawn with colored chalk on a wallpaper about 25 feet long, was done mostly at odd times. All the pupils in the room worked on it, Miss Ward said. The geography of the country and the history, occupations and amusements of the people are depicted in gay colors on the strip.
