COO EXPECTED AT LUTHERANS’ MEETING HERE

State Brotherhood Is to Convene Sunday and Monday. Five hundred men are expected to attend the annual convention of the Lutheran Synodical Brotherhood of Indiana to be held in St. Mark's Lutheran Church Sunday and Monday. The Rev. R. H. Bcnting is pastor. The Rev. r. e. Tulless. Wittenberg College president, is to speak at the banquet to be served in the Bethany Lutheran Church Sunday evening, on the topic “Lutheran Laymen and Lutheran Unity." The Rev. Henry SchafTcr. of Maywood Seminary, Chicago, also is to speak. Members who are to address the Sunday afternoon session are Mr. Bcnting, J. C. Updegraph. John C. Spiegel and F. W. Sieck, of Indianapolis; f. j. Ncimcrier, of Fort Wayne; Robert Maggart, of Albion; M. L. Zerkel, of Anderson, and the Rev. H. C. Hadley, C. E. Gardner, C. Franklin Kock and A. F. Sitloh, of Richmond. Music is to be furnished by the St. Mark’s choir and by the Rev. R. H. Trojan, of Fort Wayne. Speakers for the Monday session are the Rev. George L. Schutcs, Valparaiso; the Rev. J. W. Kapp, Cincinnati; the Rev. J. S. Albert, Indianapolis, and the Rev. J. Earl Coble, of Brookville. The Rev. H. E. Turney is to close the convention with an address on “Men of the Synod." J. A. Lechlcr, organization president, is to preside. Mr. Updegraph, Roy Childs, F V. Iverson and presidents of local brotherhoods are members of the entertainment committee.
