FEDERAL CHIEFS TO GIVE REPORT ON STATE WORK Public Exhibit Is Arranged for Semi-Annual Meeting on Co-ordination. An explanation of all Federal activities in Indiana is to be presented at the second semi-annual co-ordination meeting beginning at 11 tomorrow morning in the Claypool. The progrt i is to open wilh an inpection of the exhibit of Federal activities, which is to be open to the public tomorrow and Saturday A luncheon to which all Indiana mayors are invited, will follow. From 2 to 5 Federal agency directors are to make their reports. They and their topics are: R. Karl Peters, state Federal Housing Administration director, housing; F. D. Gallagher. Chicago agent of the Reconstruction Finance Corp., RFC; Brig. Gen. William K. Naylor, Fort Benjamin Harrison commandant. the Army. Lawrence Sheridan, state consultant, National Resources Commission. soil; J. B. E. La Plante, president. Federal Intermediate Credit Bank, Louisville, farms; Jesse E. Dickerson, director. Agriculture Department fruit and vegetable division, agriculture; Forrest Logan, Public Works Administration state engineer, PWA; Wayne Coy, regional Works Progress Administration director, work relief. Will H. Smith, state internal revenue collector, the Treasury; Marlin Carpenter, director, U. S. and State Employment Service in Indiana, Federal employment, and Earl Wayland, state surplus commodities director. Federal relief in flooded southern Indiana communities. Lieut. Com. C. H. Cotter, Washington, is to represent the national office of the National Emergency Council, Mayor Kern is to welcome the directors at the luncheon. WPA movies are to be a part of the program. St. Clair-st, and Ernest Southern. 415 Arbor-av, today face Federal grand jury action on charges of possession of an unlicensed still. They were bound over yesterday by Howard S. Young, United States commissioner. The men were arrested by police Tuesday night In a raid at 79th-st and College-av. A 200-gallon still, 2600 gallons of mash and 26 gallons of whisky were confiscated, Federal agents say.

Tod Stoops, Hoosier Motor Club manager, today is the new president of the Indiana Highway Users’ Conference following an organization dinner last night at the Claypool. The Conference is to act as a co-ordinating body in the study and discussion of highway problems presented by all users of highways.
