ARRANGE RITES FOR LONG-TIME RESIDENT HERE Lemuel Roberts Succumbs at Home of Son in Columbus, 0. Final rites are to be held at the Hisey & Titus Funeral Home to-1 morrow at 10 for Lemuel Roberts,; a resident here for 60 years, who died ;"htcrday at the home of a son, Robert E. Roberts, in Columbus, O. Burial Is to be in Crown Hill cemetery. Mr. Roberts was 91. He was born in Abergele, North Wales, on April 13, 1844, came to the United States when he was 25 and settled in Cincinnati, where he lived a few years I before coming here. Twenty-five years ago he retired from active j business. He was a stairnaker by j trade. ! Mr. Roberts served several terms as treasurer of the local I. O. O. F. lodge, and was a member of the Woodruff Place Baptist Church. He also was a member of the South Street Baptist Church, which was disbanded. In addition to the son in Columbus, survivors are another son, John W. Roberts; two daughters, Mrs. William C. Grossman and Mrs. C. B. McFaddcn, four grandchildren and one great-grandchild, all residing here. P. i. Fox Illness Fatal Funeral services for Pete J. Fox, who died yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Charles A. Wishmire, 22 N. Vine-st, following an illness of a year, are to be conducted at the Finn Brothers Funeral Home, 1639 N. Meridianst, at 8:30 tomorrow and in St. Anthony’s Catholic Church at 9. Burial is to be in Holy Cross cemetery. Mr. Fox was born in Railing, Prussia. He was 89. Coming to the United States at the age of six months, he lived here ever since his arrival in this country. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church. Besides the daughter, Mr. Fox is survived by a son, Frank Fox, and two grandchildren, Lawrence B. and Raymond F. Fox, all residing here. Heckman Rites Set Last rites for Mrs. Sarah Jane Heckman, who died yesterday at her home, R. R. 17, Box 164 TANARUS, are to be held in Flanner Buchanan Mortuary at 2 tomorrow afternoon. Burial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. T'rs. Heckman, who was 68. was a resident of Marion County all her life. She was a member of the Crooked Creek Baptist Church. Survivors are a son, Calvin D. Heckman, and a daughter, Mrs. W. K. Huckleberry, both of Marion County. Adams Rites Today George W. Adams was to be buried today in Crown Hill. Funeral services were to be held at 2 in the Moore & Kirk Funeral Home. Mr. Adams died Tuesday in his home, 923 N. Keystone-av, after an illness of several months. Mr. Adams, who was 82. was a custodian at Arsenal Technical High School. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs Carrie Ayres, and a son, Walter O. Adams, both of Indianapolis. Brennan Rites Tomorrow Requiem mass will be said tomorrow morning for John T. Brennan, lifelong resident of Indianapolis, who died Tuesday night at his home. 2605 College-av, Apt. 4. The mass will be held at. SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral. Burial is to be in Holy Cross. Mr. Brennan, who was 60, had

Marie Wright Funeral Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Hanna Wright, who died yesterday at her home, 1049 W. 33d-st, after two weeks’ illness, are to be held at the Shirley Brothers Central Chapel at 3 tomorrow afternoon. Burial is to be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Wright, who was 23, and a life-long resident, is survived by her husband, Donald E. Wright; a daughter, Carolyn Luan, and her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Basil L. Hanna, all of Indianapolis. M's. Sarah Barbee Dies Fureral services for Mrs. Sarah E. Barbee are to be held in Flanner & Buchanan Mortuary tomorrow afternon at 3:30. Cremation is to follow. A life-long resident of Indianapolis, Mrs. Barbee, who was 73, died yesterday. She lived at 209 N. Tem-ple-av. Survivors are a brother, the Rev. Henry L. Davis, and two sisters. Mrs. Mary Byers and Mrs. Hattie Elliott, all of Indianapolis. Lase Aired Is Dead Lase Aired, 413 S. Hancock-st, stepfather of Deputy Sheriff Roscoe Bredcll, died last night at City Hospital after a short Mlness. He was 61. Funeral arrangements have not been completed. Bernice Clough Dies Mrs. Bernice Clough. 1521 E. Raymond-st, died last night in the Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. She was 31. Survivors are her husband, Hurley Clough, and h&r parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Blasengym.
